Crying Out Loud
Crying Out Loud work with performance creatives from around the world. With an enviable history stretching back over 25 years, they provide mentoring, training, networking and project call-outs, as well as producing a significant body of original work. Crying Out Loud had just completed an exciting brand strategy. The website needed to represent the scope of their back catalogue of work, as well as the continued relevance of their new strategy.

Through a group workshop I was able to identify their users’ goals, along with the frustrations and pain points impacting their journeys. The new site made clearer pathways and calls to action. It also introduced new filters and ways of exploring their content, without making their broad catalogue feel reductive or narrow. Excitingly, the new site included a complete catalogue of their work, searchable with filters and an interactive map. In addition, the site maintained a minimum of WCAG AA access standards.
