Aerowaves

Dance across Europe

Aerowaves originally started in 1996 in London, and has since spent more than 25 years working as a core lynchpin of dance professionals across Europe. They run workshops and courses, along with the annual ‘Spring Forward’ festival. For the public, they have an online searchable catalogue of dance professionals. They provide an important channel for new dancers to gain recognition, as well as a way for the dance community across Europe to share skills, support one another and collaborate.

Aerowaves wanted to update their website with a contemporary feel. I worked to consolidate their site architecture, to make it easier to navigate, and make the site a better fit for their evolving content and activity. This required a more intuitive CMS, to reduce the time spent on content maintenance by the team. I also worked to improve usability, and maintain a minimum of WCAG AA access standards across the site.
